The May 2017 auction at North American Fur Auctions in Toronto attracted over 300 international buyers. This was the largest gathering of the international fur buying community thus far in 2017. Their attendance at the NAFA auction underlined the need for fine quality mink in all world markets.
After inspecting the mink pelts on offer and those nominated for a Top Lot Award, many of these buyers cast their vote for the what they recognized as the best quality in major color categories. Unicorn Mink Farms achieved top awards for both Male and Female Mink in the colors of Pastel and White.
Of significant note is the fact that the Top Lots of Unicorn Mink were purchased by discerning Chinese buyers who are promoting fine quality mink to their domestic market. Several of the buyers commented on the overall superior quality of Unicorn Mink in the pastel and white color spectrums. They also said they were impressed by Unicorn Mink’s quality in other colors and would be looking to purchase more in the future.

The Top Lot of Pastel Mink - Male was purchased by Guangzhou Manali Apparel Trading Co. Ltd. for Tong'erpu Ou Ya Sheng Qi Fur Co., Ltd., Mr. Li Yan Qi, of Tong'erpu, China, for $230. Produced by Unicorn.
The Top Lot of Pastel Mink - Female was purchased by Guangzhou Manali Apparel Trading Co. Ltd. for Qiqi Fur, of Beijing, China, for $270. Produced by Unicorn.
